I may post a thought or two on occasion. Mostly, it will be worthless information... meaningless words strung together to form incoherent sentences, useless ramblings, maybe a rant or two. Perhaps even a tirade. Who knows? However sometimes we might get lucky and I’ll post something useful or interesting... though I can’t promise when or how. I’ll do my best though.
The Bossy Church Lady’s Official Guide For New Christians: 6 Days To Knowing All About God is finally finished! I'm excited about it 1) because I'm hopeful that it will help new Christians take the first steps in the right direction in their walk with Christ, and 2) it is finally finished! In all honesty, I'm a bit nervous about it because I'm not the best writer--truth be told, I'm probably horrible at it.
However, since my heart was in the right place at the beginning and at the end of the project, the main reason why I wrote the book was to help new Christians, I've decided to go ahead and publish it and give it away to whomever wants it. If you want it, you can get a copy of it by going to: http://www.thebossychurchlady.net/free_Bible_study_book.html It’s a PDF file that you can download onto your computer and read at your leisure.
Here's a short synopsis of the book—or the blurb that would be on the back of the book if it was published traditionally: The ultimate in Christianity 101, this book is broken down into 6 easy to digest lessons that cover a variety of subjects ranging from what God expects of Christians, all the way to the gifts of the Spirit, and everywhere in between. At the end of each chapter are challenging Bible study lessons that include a short list of verses to read, a few thought provoking questions, ample space to take notes, true/false questions and more!
This workbook will encourage, edify and prepare you, the new Christian, to be an effective warrior for Christ. Armed and equipped, wearing the full armor of God, you’ll have the confidence to go out and spread the good news, which is a Christian’s highest calling. After all, who doesn’t want to hear the Lord say: “Well done, good and faithful servant!”?
Yeah yeah, I know… the summary sounds full of hype, but I do believe that the book lives up to the promises.
There really isn't much to tell; I'm Southern Baptist. I enjoy writing, I don't know what to when I'm not.
As you can see from some of my posts, I believe in equality and fairness. Other than abortion and stem cell research and euthanasia--especially after what I saw happen today--I believe in having choices.
I'm the author of The Keepers: Liberation where a girl named Kayla risks her life so that others can have freedom of choice. Find out more by going to:
