After editing the manuscript that I’ve been working on for the last few months, I read through it again and was certain that it was polished. In my mind, it was spit shined and ready to go!
So, after querying agents, I decided to reread the manuscript just to make sure that there aren’t any spelling errors or anything else like that when I came across something I really didn’t like… the dialogue seemed a little too fakey in my opinion. And then, I found something else that I wasn’t pleased with. Of course, now that I have a bunch of queries out, I’m finding myself fixing everything in the manuscript, even if it really doesn’t need fixing in case an agent or someone happens to be interested in reading it.
Anyhoo… back to the real reason why I’m checking in… I wanted to find out what you thought about a Christian author who writes horror stories. I’ve written one or two and there’s a few more that I’ve been kicking around in my head for some time, but I wanted to get some feedback on the matter before I stamp my real name on the stories.

Ooohhh a woman after my own heart! I write horror or thrillers - whatever label you want to give them. You can check out my website to see some of my magazine articles but the manuscripts I've just written are more along the lines of scarey...
